1. God Created Everything.
Revelation 4:11 “You are worthy, our Lord and God! You are
worthy to receive glory and honor and power. You are worthy because you created
all things. They were created and they exist. That is the way you planned it.”
2. God Works through the Power of His Spirit.
Everything that God has created was done by His power.
Genesis 1:1-31. V.1-2. In the
beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth didn’t have any shape. And it was empty.
Darkness was over the surface of the ocean. At that time, the ocean covered the
earth. The Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.
Psalm
19:1-2.
The heavens tell about the glory of God. The
skies show that his hands created them. 2 Day after day they speak
about it. Night after night they make it known.
God works through the power of His word.
Psalm 33:6-9. The heavens were made when the Lord commanded
it to happen. All of the stars were created by the breath of his mouth. 7 He
gathers the waters of the sea together. He puts the oceans in their places. 8
Let the whole earth have respect for the Lord. Let all of
the people in the world honor him. 9 He spoke, and the world came
into being. He commanded, and it stood firm.
3.
God Forms And Then He Fills.
He formed the
earth and filled it with plants and animals.
He formed the
sky and filled it with stars and planets.
He formed the
seas and filled them with living creatures. He also formed man and filled him with
breath and His blessings.
4.
God Divides or Separates.
God separated
the light from the darkness the dry land from the waters and the waters above
from the waters beneath. This is an
action that God does through the whole Bible.
He separates His children from the world. Jesus said,
John 17:16. They do not belong to the world, just as I do
not belong to it.
He wants His people to be separated from all of
the evil that is in the world that makes man corrupt and violent.
2 Corinthians
6:14-18. Do not be joined to unbelievers. What do
right and wrong have in common? Can light and darkness be friends? 15 How can Christ and Satan agree? What does a believer
have in common with an unbeliever? 16 How
can the temple of the true God and the statues of other gods agree? We are the
temple of the living God. God has said, “I will live with them. I will walk
among them. I will be their God. And they will be my people. 17 So
come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch anything
that is not pure and clean. Then I will receive you.18 I will be
your Father. You will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord who rules over
all.”
5.
God Blesses.
Genesis 1:26. Then God said, “Let us make man in our
likeness. Let them rule over the fish in the waters and the birds of the air.
Let them rule over the livestock and over the whole earth. Let them rule over
all of the creatures that move along the ground.
Sin has spoiled that likeness but one day all true
believers will be like Jesus.
Romans: 8:29. God planned
that those he had chosen would become like his Son. In that way, Christ will be
the first and most honored among many brothers.
The more that we are like Jesus Christ, the more
we will enjoy God’s blessings.
2 Corinthians
3:18. Our faces
are not covered with a veil. We all display the Lord’s glory. We are being
changed to become more like him so that we have more and more glory. And the
glory comes from the Lord, who is the Holy Spirit.
We
recommend that candidates study Learn to Read the Bible Effectively and God’s
